Terms of Service
Effective date: February 1, 2024 · Last updated: May 7, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of shapirolaw.co.il (the "Site"). By visiting the Site, submitting the consultation form, or contacting us through the channels listed on the Site, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms. If you do not agree to them, do not use the Site.
1. Purpose of the Site
The Site is owned and operated by Daniel Shapiro Law (Tel Aviv, Israel). The contents of the Site are general informational materials describing the firm's practice, areas of work, and how to request a consultation.
2. No legal advice
Information on the Site — including articles, practice descriptions, case results, FAQ answers, and any other materials — is not legal advice for any specific matter. Every situation is unique; decisions about a case can only be made after detailed review of the facts and applicable law.
3. No attorney-client relationship
Viewing the Site, submitting the consultation form, exchanging messages by email, messaging app, or the on-site chat does not by itself create an attorney-client relationship. Such a relationship is formed only after we sign a written engagement letter and complete a conflicts check.
Until an engagement letter is signed, information you send us is not fully protected by attorney-client privilege under Israeli law. Please do not send confidential or trade-secret documents through the Site without first coordinating with us.
4. Attorney advertising
The Site constitutes attorney advertising under the Israel Bar Association Rules and other applicable rules. Daniel Shapiro Law is responsible for the content of the advertising materials on the Site.
5. Use of Site materials
Text, photography, graphics, logos, video, and other materials on the Site are the intellectual property of Daniel Shapiro Law or are used under license. Copying, distribution, modification, or commercial use without our written consent is prohibited. Quoting short passages with attribution and an active link back to the Site is permitted.
6. Limitation of liability
The Site is provided "as is." We make reasonable efforts to keep the information current, but we do not guarantee its completeness, accuracy, or timeliness. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Site.
7. Third-party links
The Site may contain links to third-party resources (Google Maps, analytics services, professional associations). We do not control those resources, are not responsible for their content, and are not responsible for how they handle your data. You access such links at your own risk.
8. Prohibited conduct
When using the Site, you may not:
- intentionally mislead us, submit knowingly false information, or submit another person's personal data without their consent;
- attempt to bypass Site security measures, conduct load testing or scanning attacks, or introduce malicious code;
- use the Site to send spam or marketing offers, or for any purpose unrelated to seeking legal assistance.
9. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, Israel, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes arising out of your use of the Site shall be brought in the competent courts of Tel Aviv, Israel, unless mandatory law expressly provides otherwise.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may modify these Terms. The current version is always available at this URL; the last-updated date appears at the top of the document. By continuing to use the Site after changes are posted, you accept the updated Terms.
